The Lifestyle Bartender serves as both a beverage specialist and a host, taking responsibility for the overall guest experience within and beyond the bar. The role involves maintaining operational excellence, ensuring the bar functions seamlessly, and building meaningful relationships within the hotel and the surrounding community to anticipate and meet guest needs. Attention to detail is essential, including accuracy in handling transactions, providing reliable information, and maintaining high standards in drink preparation and presentation.

Core responsibilities

• Deliver a unique and engaging guest experience through professional bartending service.

• Monitor emerging beverage trends, micro-local offerings, and guest preferences.

• Maintain the appearance and functionality of the bar to ensure smooth operations.

• Take ownership of guest service beyond the bar area as required.

• Build and maintain relationships across the hotel and within the local community.

• Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and handling of payments.

• Provide accurate and relevant information to guests.

• Uphold high standards in drink quality and presentation.

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

• Carry out all assigned duties and any additional reasonable tasks as required.

Preferred qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

• Work experience: Minimum of 1 year of related bartending or hospitality experience.

• Supervisory experience: None required.

• License or certification: Not required.
