Job Summary

FOY Global Investments Limited is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Officer to support the growth of a newly established lending business within the organization.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding the lending portfolio by identifying qualified loan clients, developing new lending opportunities, and building strong relationships with individuals and businesses. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can take initiative and contribute strategically to the development of the company’s lending operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with company stakeholders and clients.

  • Identify potential borrowers and business opportunities to support the expansion of the lending portfolio.

  • Evaluate clients’ financing needs and recommend appropriate lending solutions.

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to attract new loan clients.

  • Present lending products and proposals clearly to prospective clients through effective communication.

  • Prepare progress reports and keep clients updated throughout the lending process.

  • Issue invoices, monitor payments, and follow up on loan repayments when required.

  • Analyze client feedback to evaluate satisfaction with the services provided.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging lending opportunities.

  • Remain informed about industry trends, lending practices, and market developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar business development or lending role.

  • Previous work experience in a Bank, FX company, or Microfinance Bank (MFB) is required.

  • Experience in lending, credit marketing, or loan portfolio development will be considered an advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.
